Kenneth Young, AACI, P. APP

President & Senior Director, Valuation

As a proud Nova Scotian, I am appreciative of being able to have provided 23 plus years of service to residents and investors in our beautiful province. Through the years as a licensed broker and appraiser, I have encountered many situations that span from a standard residential appraisal to some interesting commercial litigation work.



Chris Connors, AIC candidate member

Junior Consultant, Valuation

Christopher Connors is an AACI Candidate Member. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 2012 with a Bachelor Degree in Management, and has received a Post-Graduated Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia. Christopher has worked on a variety of commercial and residential assignments in British Columbia, Saskatchewan and across the Atlantic Provinces.





Philson S Kempton, AIC candidate member

Junior Consultant, Valuation

Philson S. Kempton is an AACI Candidate Member. He graduated from St. Mary's University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is currently enrolled in the Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia. Philson has been involved in the real estate industry since 2012, and he has a wide variety of residential and commercial experience.





Ron Skinner, AIC candidate member

Junior Consultant, Valuation

Ron Skinner graduated from Sait Mary's University in 2015 with a Commerce Degree and then pursued an education in Computer Sicence at Dalhousie University before becoming an AACI Candidate Member. Ron is currently enrolled in the Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation through the University of British Columbia. Ron has completed a wide variety of appraisal assignments, both commercial and residential, across the province.



Residential Appraisals


 

Angela Barron, AIC candidate member

Junior Consultant, Valuation

Angela Barron is a CRA Candidate Member, originally from St. John's, NL. Angela is based out of our Truro office and currently completes residential assignments in the northern region of the province. Angela graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish. She spent some time traveling abroad and running a small business in St. John's before entering into the Appraisal Institute of Canada study program with the University of British Colombia.


 

Alison Stanton, AIC candidate member

Junior Consultant, Valuation

Alison Stanton is a CRA Candidate Member. Alison graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies. She previously worked in architectural restoration and heritage properties research before pursuing Real Estate Appraisal with the University of British Columbia. In her spare time Alison enjoys traveling, making pottery and volunteering in her community as the director of Shelburne's Basement Theatre.

Shawna Morrison

Residential Department Manager

Shawna has worked in the customer service industry for over 21 years in several communities along the South Shore. Having lived in the Blandford/Chester/Mahone Bay area for most of her life, she is very familiar with the Bridgewater and surrounding areas. In her spare time, Shawna likes to dabble in writing, photography, and going on road trip adventures with her children.


 

Tobi Balzer

Commercial Administrator

A friendly voice and a friendly face, Tobi has worked at Young & Associates as administrative support. Tobi lives in Bridgewater and when not involved with her family she is hard at work.




 

Miranda Johnson

Administrative Assistant

Currently enjoying her new position as the office Assistant Admin and continuing to upgrade her skills.
